Forestbase Spend Lens began as a small practice helping local finance and procurement teams reconcile what the ERP reported with what buyers remembered on the floor.
Official name and history
The official registered business name is Forestbase Spend Lens Co., Ltd.. The company was established in 2017 in Ho Chi Minh City, beginning with category spend clean-ups for manufacturers and distributors who needed clearer supplier conversations before year-end negotiations.
Through the late 2010s the practice added structured supplier scorecard facilitation and commercial contract comparison for teams facing clustered renewals. Today we still operate from Tan Binh District, working primarily with Vietnamese organisations and regional offices that keep purchasing records in both Vietnamese and English.
How we work with clients
We treat each engagement as a finite piece of professional work: intake, analysis, draft review, readout. Clients keep ownership of their data and of the decisions that follow. Our analysts join steering meetings when invited, then step back so internal owners remain the voice of the category.
